Start of the Dry Fasting Club 2.0

Dry Fasting Basics

Table of contents

This marks the beginning of new posts that will define a new era for the dry fasting club. An era of better enlightenment. Shorter articles. More to the point. If you've been following my research, experiments, and interviews, you'll hopefully have noticed that I am an experimenter who is always ready to pivot with new information. I don't subscribe to a single ideology, and that also means I don't subscribe to dry fasting as the end-all be-all. I'm ok if dry fasting isn't the final answer, although I still believe that it is a very important part of it. The dry fasting club was established primarily to address some of the most severe chronic illnesses worldwide. It was not started for cancer, although there are many strategies with water fasting for cancer. It was started for Chronic Fatigue and ME/CFS-type illnesses.

So why DFC 2.0? Because enough research and time have passed for me to recommend a newer approach confidently. DFC 1.0 focused on low-carbohydrate diets (think keto and carnivore) and 9-day dry fasts. DFC 2.0 focuses on higher carbohydrate diets and shorter dry fasts. This does not mean that certain situations don't warrant 9-day dry fasts. I still believe the worst cases will have excellent results with this. However, it also means that 9-day dry fasts come with their own set of complications and problems that are not currently adequately addressed.

If you've watched my videos, I hope I've come across as someone who does not feel comfortable giving point-blank advice. Knowing that, I hope you realize that me pivoting to this 2.0 advice is me truly believing that this is the answer you've all been looking for. 99% of chronic illness lies with glucose metabolism, and if you can fix it, everything will start improving. Every illness is unique and may require extra steps, but in its most basic form, everything relies on insulin sensitivity and glucose metabolism. Unfortunately, low-carb diets are only temporary band-aids that don't fix the underlying problem. Everyone eventually realizes this. Hopefully, it's not too late for you.

I just had a consultation with someone who was asking why I should eat higher carbs and lower fat after a dry fast. Even after I went through all the basic explanations, I realized that I need to organize these into concise, one-page image explanations so that people can grasp what I'm trying to say much more easily. At the same time, there is also a big resistance to this information. It reminds me of Bitcoin when I was advocating for it 10 years ago. There's a saying: "Everyone buys bitcoin for the price they deserve".

Good luck on your healing journey.
